Hey there, and welcome to episode 101 of the Timeout with Ti podcast. If you’ve been following the NBA pretty closely this summer, you probably know that some teams are having weird offseasons.
One of those teams is the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizz were briefly hinted at on episode 100 of Timeout with Ti, but now I’ve brought Keith Parish of Fastbreak Breakfast in to really break down their summer.
Keith is fantastic, as is his podcast—go check it out after you’re done listening to this one! Anyway, we started off by talking about Tony Allen leaving Memphis for the New Orleans Pelicans.
That really launched into a fun part of the podcast where Keith and I talked about the odd difference between the really good parts of Memphis’ roster—Mike Conley and Marc Gasol—and the rest of it. There are a lot of young, unproven, unheralded players here. How will they fare this year?

Talking Utah Jazz & More with Ben Mehic — TWT 104
Hey there! Welcome to episode 104 of the Timeout with Ti podcast. I sat down with Ben Mehic on a beautiful Saturday morning to talk about the Utah Jazz, followed by a few quick-fire takes on some other teams.
Ben and I disagreed a bit on the outlook for the Utah Jazz, mostly because he’s a noted pessimist, but we did both come in knowing Utah’s offense would be a slog this season. The Jazz have no clear-cut leading scorer—Rodney Hood is probably the closest thing to it.
The defense will still be great, and as Ben brings up, more steals might help jump-start Utah’s offense. The slogging Jazz will have problems on the offensive end, though—nobody will tune in and mistake them for the Golden State Warriors.
After breaking down Utah’s chances in the West, we talked about Milos Teodosic and the Los Angeles Clippers, the Washington Wizards, and the Milwaukee Bucks a bit. I gushed over Giannis Antetokounmpo, but after what he did on Friday night that’s more than fair.
Hit up me (@TiWindisch), the podcast (@TimeoutwithTi), and Ben (@BenMehicNBA) on Twitter to let us know if you liked the episode or not! I think all three of us are worth a follow regardless, honestly.

Picking New NBA Teams with Adam McGee — TWT 103
Hey there, and welcome to episode 103 of the Timeout with Ti podcast. I was joined by my good friend and fellow co-expert at Behind the Buck Pass, Adam McGee, for an interesting and fresh discussion this time around.
Adam and I decided to rank the top five NBA teams we would support if we had to pick a new squad today. Neither of us could pick the Milwaukee Bucks, Adam couldn’t pick his first love, the Atlanta Hawks, and I couldn’t take the Sacramento Kings, who I covered for a few months a couple summers ago.
Our lists had some similarities, but in a bold move my number one choice caused me to, in Adam’s words, “sink to a new low.” It’s a really fun episode, and I’m interested in hearing which teams you listeners would pick if you had to.
Also please check out Timeout with Ti and Press Basketball on Facebook, and all 103 (!!!!) episodes of the show that are located on iTunes/Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Stitcher plus on the show’s home on Soundcloud and here on the fantastic Press Basketball website. Talking LA Clippers with Tom West — TWT 99
Hey there, and welcome to another episode of Timeout with Ti. Last time out on episode 98, I (Ti Windisch) sat down with Chris Reichert to discuss the G League expansion draft and some other G League topics.
This time out I wanted to talk about the LA Clippers instead of the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario, so I got Tom West on the line from all the way across the pond to talk about the Clips on Timeout with Ti episode 99.
Tom used to cover LA on a daily basis while he ran Clipperholics, and still follows the team despite moving on from that gig to a new one at FanRagSports. I knew he’d have some takes on the Clippers’ interesting summer, and I was not disappointed.
In our 45-minute conversation, we covered a lot of Blake Griffin stuff, some Milos Teodosic stuff, and Tom’s favorite topic—the idea of trading DeAndre Jordan for Andre Drummond. (It’s not really his favorite topic.)
Don’t forget that both Timeout with Ti and Press Basketball are found on Facebook, and the podcast is also located on iTunes/Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Stitcher in addition to its home on Soundcloud and here on Press.
